The barrel contains a series of circular grooves (24,26,28) for guiding the cam followers (18,20,22), each one containing two chicanes (34,36,40,42,46,50) to axially displace the cam followers, which operate the selector forks (14). At least one of the chicanes, in one of the paths, has a selective guide latch (52), which can retract out of position on the reverse turning of the barrel to maintain the follower in the neutral position. |
