PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigarette having a fire-extinguishing function convenient to carry and so on. SOLUTION: This cigarette characterized by slidably fitting the cylinder 5 of a metal foil such as an aluminum foil onto a part of the cigarette main body 1. After smoking, the cylinder 5 is disposed at the fired portion, pressed to distinguish the fire, and then receives the distinguished ash portion. The cigarette butt treatment in addition to the fire-distinguishing treatment can be carried out without otherwise using a tool for extinguishing the fire and a tool for receiving the cigarette butt.
