PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing and installing a concrete caisson on the surface of the water, in which a large caisson can be produced on the surface of the water by a simple device, while production and installation of the caisson can be done simultaneously and a sea bed can be integrated with the caisson easily, avoiding under water man power work such as sea bottom foundation leveling and foundation building up work. SOLUTION: Caisson molding forms 6, 7 are installed on the surface of the water, supported by a floating body 1. Concrete is cast into the forms to form a desired hight of the caisson, while a suspending member 9 for supporting the caisson is fixed to the caisson. The suspending member 9 is supported by the floating body 1 so as to suspend the caisson. After the concrete is hardened, by descending the caisson into the water using the extended suspending member 9, the forms 6, 7 are moved to the upper pard of the caisson A relatively, casting the next concrete, upper side of the caisson A is extended successively, forming the caisson, which is descended under the water, then the bottom of the caisson A is press-fitted in the desired depth, using the gravity of the floating and so on.
