PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolytic battery, minimizing not only the increase of the internal pressure of the battery but the expansion of the battery case. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolytic battery contains chain carbonic acid ester in its electrolytic solution and is provided inside the battery with an adsorbent for carbon dioxide.
