THIN-WALLED INJECTION MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight, thin-walled injection molded article which has a high rigidity and excellent electrical insulating properties. SOLUTION: This thin-walled injection molded article is prepared from a resin composite comprising a polymer component 1 and an organic clay 2 dispersed therein. The polymer component is a blend of polyphenylene oxide and a butadiene-styrene copolymer. The thin-walled injection molded article is prepared from a resin composite comprising a modified polyphenylene oxide 1 and an organic clay 2 dispersed therein. The relation between the longest flow length L of the resin composite in the molded article and the average wall thickness(t) of the article satisfies the equation: L/t>=70.
