<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of an apparatus for detecting partial discharging of a gas insulated switchgear. SOLUTION: A circular insulating spacer 12 is held between a cylindrical first container 10 and a cylindrical second container 11, each of which is formed of a metal. When electromagnetic waves are generated by the partial discharge of the electric device 13 supported by insulating spacer 12, the electromagnetic wave leaking to the outside of each of the containers 10 and 11 from the insulating spacer 12 is detected by this partial discharge-detecting apparatus for the gas insulated switchgear. In the apparatus, an antenna 15 having single directivity is arranged opposite to the insulating spacer 12, so that the center axis of a main beam 16 becomes orthogonal to the center axis of each of containers 10 and 11.</p> |
