PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch, which maintains a high keystroke amount, has a reduced entire height by effectively using a thickness portion of a holder member, has a decreased thickness, and enables the suitable performance of a key input operation without hindering a guide action of each of links upon upper and lower input operations of a long key top. SOLUTION: A disposition hole 7a is formed in a holder member 7, and a rubber spring 6 is disposed in the disposition hole 7a. The lower portion of the rubber spring 6 is housed in the thickness portion of the holder member 7, and the upper end of the rubber spring 6 is exposed from the upper surface of the holder member 7 and contacted with a key top 2. Further, a posture- maintaining lever 31 is disposed at a position on a lower surface of a long key top 2', whose position is located within a plane-viewed region of the key top 2' and apart from a guide member 3 constituting of the first link 4 and the second link 5. The lever 31 is disposed along a shaft member 31a in the longitudinal direction.
