PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric porcelain composition for high frequency, which has a high dielectric constant (εr) and a high Q-value in the microwave region and also, the resonance frequency temperature coefficient (τf) of which can be controlled so as to be in the vicinity of 0 (ppm/ deg.C) and further, which is excellent in thermal shock resistance. SOLUTION: This composition contains a main component represented by the general formula, xBaO-y (1-α)Sm2O3-αNd2O3}-zTiO2 (wherein, 13.0<=x<=23.0; 0<y<=12.0, 75.0<=z<=83.0: 0<=α<=1; x+y+z=100; and <=1.5 mol% of the Ti element is replaced with Zr) and also, as auxiliary components, <=0.3 pts.wt. of an Mn compound (expressed in terms of MnO) and <=1.0 pts.wt. of a Ta compound (expressed in terms of Ta2O5). |
