PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve inconveniences in a conventional wet brake that an outer gear housing having a piston reaction receiving portion integrally formed with a gear portion, on which a brake plate is mounted, should be removed when replacing a brake disc and a plate, resulting in poor workability and possibly causing manufacturing defectives during casting a raw material. SOLUTION: A wet brake comprises a seal housing 3 as a reaction receiving portion of a piston 5 tightened to an outer gear housing 7, on which a multi-disc brake plate 1 is mounted, via a bolt 9.
