PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction-type bearingless motor that is miniaturized by eliminating a power supply device at a position control side. SOLUTION: The induction-type bearingless motor is provided with a drive coil for driving a rotor and a control coil whose number of poles differs from that of the drive coil by two in a stator for surrounding the cage-type rotor in a peripheral direction, controls the voltage of the control coil or current to generate force in a radius direction for controlling positions, and supports the rotor without any contact while being floated. In the bearingless motor, power being generated by the control coil is utilized as a power supply, thus controlling the floating position of the rotor. |
