PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof truss model which enables a person to experience the structural characteristics of the truss structure and to sensibly understand the truss structure without requiring difficult operation relating to the structural characteristics of the truss structure. SOLUTION: The roof truss structure model 1 has a pair of supporting bases 5 which are disposed apart prescribed intervals, connecting members 2 which form a pair of truss parts 7 so as to constitute an approximately peak shape in an external form, are elongatable and shrinkable in a specified direction and have a display function to display whether the external force relating to these members is compression or tension, direct coupling members 3 which are mounted at their both ends to the respective corresponding junctures 28 of a pair of the truss part 7 and roof-shape members 4 which freely turnably connect the connecting members 2 and direct coupling members 3 existing the both ends of the truss parts 7 to the supporting bases 5 and have the approximately peak shape in the external form above the connecting members 2 formed to the approximately peak shape in the external form. A model base 6 is mounted at the base surfaces of the supporting bases 5 described above.
