PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wrong operation damaging a stepless reaping speed change mechanism and to improve durability of stepless speed change belt. SOLUTION: In a velocity control apparatus of combine harvester which is equipped with a threshing part (4) and a reaping part (8) for continuously carrying out harvest operation and a reaping speed change motor (32) for changing change gear ratios of stepless speed change pulleys (26) and (27) and a belt (28) for changing the driving speed of the reaping part (8) for transmitting power of an engine (14a) in a stepless manner and automatically controls the reaping speed change motor (32) in the drive of the reaping part (8), the apparatus is equipped with a control circuit (46) for selecting a crop condition.
