PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of noise during operation without remarkably impairing the cleaning action by providing a radial fan driven by a prime mover, including a fan rotor rotatable around the fan axis and a fan casing for at least partially surrounding this fan rotor in this radial fan, providing a suction port in a range of the fan axis in the front side wall almost vertically positioned on the fan axis in the fan casing, and improving an air blower of the form of cleaning a surface. SOLUTION: A bell-like damper 9 is arranged on a front side wall 7 in the range of a suction port 8; this bell-like damper 9 is positioned at an interval to this front side wall almost in parallel to the front side wall 7; this air blower is provided with a damping wall 10 for covering the suction port 8 and a bell- like wall part 11 for surrounding the suction port 8 and the damping wall 10; and in that case, a suction window 12 is arranged in the bell-like wall part 11. |
