PURPOSE: A process for preparing the titled fiber having a single yarn fineness of 2 denier or less and uniform quality between single yarns by general spinning methods is provided. Whereby, dope-dyed polypropylene fiber having excellent spinning property and uniform cross-section shape is obtained, the cost of production is reduced and a dyeing process can be omitted. CONSTITUTION: This dope-dyed polypropylene fiber for medical use is prepared by the use of a distribution plate satisfying the following conditions: πR/64=<W=<πR/32, 0.5=<W/l=<1.5, 5°=<&thgr;=<15°, 0.4=<r1/R=<0.5, 0.1=<r2/R=<0.2 and 1.5=<r1/r2=<2.0 in which W is a width of a surface groove of a distribution plate, l is a length of a surface groove of a distribution plate, &thgr; is an angle between each groove of a distribution plate, R is a radius of a distribute and r1, r2 are a length of a surface groove from the center of a distribution plate. |
