摘要 PURPOSE: A transmissive display device using fine optical modulator forms a light path controlling part at the portion corresponding to a moving member, thereby simplifying the process of a fine machine work and reducing the process time. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of fixing members(23) are formed on the first transparent substrate(21) in parallel as a stripe form. A plurality of moving members(25) in the bridge form are separated from the respective fixing members(23). The both ends of the moving members(25) are overlapped with the respective fixing members(23). When the voltage difference is generated between the fixing member(23) and the moving member(25), the moving member(25) moves toward and comes in contact with the fixing member(23). When the voltage difference isn't generated between the fixing member(23) and the moving member(25), the moving member(25) is separated from the fixing member(23). Therefore, the light path is opened/closed according to the voltage difference between the fixing member(23) and the moving member(25). A plurality of light path controlling parts(26) are long formed in the reverse triangle structure at the portion corresponding to the moving member(25) of the second transparent substrate(27), and are separated from one another. The refractive index of the light path controlling part(26) is in the range of 1.58 to 1.64.
