PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress usable with an aircraft seat comprising a seat part, a backrest part, and a footrest. SOLUTION: This aircraft seat comprises a backrest part 3, a seat part 2, and a footrest 5 which can be set at a reclining position or a lying position to make an upper surface for lying. This mattress 7 has one surface 8 which is not flat, but of a complementary form relative to an upper surface form of the seat part 2, the backrest 3, and the footrest 5. The other surface 9 of the mattress 7 is substantially flat. As the non-flat surface 8 of the mattress 7 is put on the seat part 2, the backrest 3, and the footrest 5, the surface 8 of the mattress 7 is adapted for the upper surface of the seat, and the surface 9 of the mattress 7 provides a substantially flat horizontal surface suitable for sleeping. |
