PURPOSE: A light source generator is provided to generate and output various bands using consumptive backward amplified light generated by pumping light flown into light amplifying optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: A light source generator includes first to fourth couplers(14,15,18,19) and a reincident member for making backward light applied from the second coupler be incident from the first output terminal. The first coupler receives amplified light of a first wave band output from a light amplifying optical fiber, divides amplified light into a prescribed ratio, outputs first light source through a first output terminal and outputs amplified light through a second output terminal. The second coupler receives backward amplified light of a second wave band generated from the light amplifying optical fiber, divides the backward amplified light, outputs to the first and second output terminals and applies light applied from the first output terminal to the light amplifying optical fiber. The third coupler divides backward light applied from the second coupler into a prescribed ratio, outputs the backward light from the first output terminal to the second light source and outputs to the second output terminal. The fourth coupler synthesizes first wave band light applied from the second output terminal and second wave band light applied from the second output terminal and outputs third light source. |
