A grease catch basin is mountable to a roof-top exhaust duct, beneath t he exhaust fan when pivoted to a position cantilevered over a central portion o f the basin. The central portion mounts to one side of the duct. A pair of arms extend from t he central portion along the sides of the duct adjacent the central portion. The floor of the arms and central portion slope downwardly to a distal end of the central portion. The distal end of the central portion is formed as an effluent filter receiving channel. The channel is drained by a pipe which may be directed into a roof top sewer vent.
