PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for supporting person handicapped in hearing, by which the condition of an object to announce can be surely announced to a person handicapped in hearing in simple configuration. SOLUTION: In this system, when an announce code set for each of announce contents, namely, an approach code meaning the approach of a train 1, departure code meaning the departure of the train 1 or stop code meaning the stop of the train 1 (departure/arrival code) is transmitted from an alarm 2 installed on the train 1 or alarm 4 installed on a platform or the like 3 for each of stations, for example, and a PHS portable terminal 6 carried by a person 5 handicapped in hearing on the platform 3 receives the transmitted approach code or departure/arrival code of the train 1, by driving the alarm part of the PHS portable terminal 6, the approach condition of the train 1 or departure/ arrival condition of the train 1 can be reported to the person handicapped in hearing.
