<p>The invention relates to a device comprising a tank (2) containing CO2, which is connected by closing means (5a, 5b) to at least one conduit (4a, 4b) extending inside said chamber (1) and having a plurality of gas outlets. Said device also comprises means (12, 13, 17 and 18) for extracting air samples from at least one inner point and one outer point of said chamber, which are connected to a CO2 analyzer (20),an oxygen analyzer (38) and an ethylene analyzer (39) to determine and indicate the level of CO2, nitrogen and ethylene in the analyzed sample with the purpose of controlling the level of said gases inside the chamber by actuating the closing means (5a, 5b). The invention also relates to a method for operating said device.</p> |
