<p>A microstrip antenna comprising a rectangular dielectric substrate, an earth plate conductor formed on one of the surfaces of the dielectric substrate, a rectangular emission conductor formed on the other surface of the dielectric substrate, a cross-shaped slot which is formed in the emission conductor and has two arms extending along two mutually perpendicular sides of the emission conductor and having different lengths, and a feeding point provided in one or more positions on a diagonal or its extension of the emission conductor and different from the center of the emission conductor, wherein the length of at least one of the arms of the slot is greater than the remainder of the subtraction of four times the thickness of the dielectric board from the length of the side of the emission conductor along the arm.</p> |
