PURPOSE: An upper hinge for refrigerator door is provided to achieve an in-advance prevention against shift of gasket caused due to the assembly error occurring during assembly of refrigerator door. CONSTITUTION: An upper hinge comprises a base plate(50), a hinge plate(60) and a hinge fixing unit(70). The base plate includes a plane plate mounted to a refrigerator body, and which has mount grooves(53); a pair of support ends(54) arranged to be opposed with each other at both sides of the plane plate, and which have slots(54a); and a fixing end(56) arranged at an end of the plane plate, and which has a vertically extended hole. The hinge plate includes a hinge pin(62) extended in a vertical direction from the lower surface of the hinge plate so as to be inserted into a pin groove(3a) formed at a refrigerator door(3); a fixing protrusion(64) extended in a vertical direction from the lower surface of the hinge plate so as to be inserted into the mount groove formed at the base plate; and a fixing piece(66) extended from the hinge plate so as to be inserted into the fixing end of the base plate. The hinge fixing unit is coupled to the support ends of the base plate, such that the hinge fixing unit presses and fixes/releases the upper surface of the hinge plate.
