PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion module which is of leaf- skeleton type and superior in heat transfer efficiency, where thermoelectric elements can be easily, hermetically sealed. SOLUTION: A thermoelectric element array 12 comprises thermoelectric elements 10, which are arranged in an array in a two-dimensional manner, the one edge of the element array 12 is supported by a board 21, and a ring- shaped sealing member 22 is fixed along the circumference of the board 21. The sealing member 22 is formed of an elastic material and equipped with a stepped part 23 which faces the board 21 and a lip-shaped part 24 which faces the other side. Therefore, when the element array 12 is pinched between the board 21 and a cooled body 1 in an assembly process, and the element array 12 is sealed hermetically with the sealing member 22, so that a heat exchange unit 5 which is of a simple structure, easily assembled, capable of dispensing with filling material, capable of preventing the outside air from penetrating, and is kept free of corrosion caused by dew condensation and imperfect contact can be provided.
