PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle the accounts of tolls of plural IC card users with one IC card and to contribute to the relaxation of congestion by enabling plural ETC cars of batch payment to pass an ETC lane without temporary stop. SOLUTION: This ETC system is provided with plural lane controllers 3 each located on each of lanes for discriminating whether a vehicle is a paying car or car to be paid from batch payment information provided by radio communication with on-vehicle equipment 6 of a vehicle, which enters a present lane, and simultaneously settling the tolls for plural vehicles in the case of paying car and a relay computer 2 for receiving the information of the batch settled results for plural vehicles from the lane controllers 3 of respective lanes through a communication line 4, holding this information and providing at least one part of the held information of the batch settled results corresponding to a request form each of lane controllers 3 for account settling processing to the car to be paid, which enters each of lanes. |
