PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module together with its manufacturing method wherein the electric connection between an internal substrate and a lead array is excellent to improve yield of products. SOLUTION: An optical module 10 comprises an optical element 18 wherein one signal is converted into the other signal between optical signal and electric signal, an electronic element 20 electrically connected to the optical element 18, an internal substrate 22 comprising a part mounting surface 22a on which the electronic element 20 is mounted, lead arrays 16 and 30 electrically connected to the electronic element 20, and a resin body 11 which seals the optical element 18, electronic element 20, internal substrate 22, and lead arrays 16 and 30. The internal substrate 22 comprises electrode parts 25a and 25b corresponding to the lead arrays 16 and 30 on a mounting surface 22b corresponding to the part mounting surface 22a, and the lead arrays 16 and 30 are connected to the electrode parts 25a and 25b through a conductive adhesive member. |
