PURPOSE: To realize a high quality image by speeding up a write time correspondingly to high definition and upsizing of the liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION: An output amplifier circuit of a liquid crystal driver is provided with a means for changing over an amplifier circuit for amplifying a prescribed gradation voltage to output it, to/from an amplifier circuit for buffering the prescribed gradation voltage one-fold to output it, and a liquid crystal panel is driven by the amplifier output for a certain period of the horizontal period, and driven by the buffer output for the other period. Moreover, the driving circuit is provided with a pre-charge control circuit for judging whether or not the gradation voltage is amplified and outputted depending on a display data.
