VENT STRUCTURE OF FIELD EMISSION DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A vent structure of field emission display is provided to prevent thickness increase with vent tube by parallelly connecting vent tube to panel, to increase vent efficiency by forming vent tube with variable shape and as much as the number, to prevent pollution inside panel by venting directly gas with vent tube not through panel. CONSTITUTION: An upper substrate(10) and lower substrate is adhered by sealing paste. Vent holes are formed at one side of lower substrate. A contact of body(12) is opened and adhered to lower substrate to cover above vent hole. Vent tube(14) is expanded in a parallel direction to panel at one end side of body(12). Getter insert hole(16) is expanded in a parallel direction to panel at the other end side of body(12). Vent structure of FED has getter that is formed and expanded up to body through getter insert hole(16).
