PURPOSE:To make it possible to wash the interior of the bath boiler to the innermost part thereof in a short time by a method wherein the bath boiler is heated while a washing liquid is circulated through the bath boiler with a pump so that scales in the bath boiler are removed due to the synergistic action of hot water and the washing liquid and the scales are collected in a vessel. CONSTITUTION:The pump 1 and the vessel 2 are fixed to a bathtub filled with water, a drain port 4 of the pump 1 and a water inlet port 6 of the bath boiler 3 are connected together with a hose and a drain port 7 of the bath boiler 3, a drain port 9 of the scale collecting vessel 2 and an inlet port 5 of the pump 1 are connected to one another with hoses so that water may be circulated through the pump 1, the bath boiler 3 and the scale collecting vessel 2. When the pump 1 is operated, the bath boiler having water circulated therethrough is ignited and heated and the washing liquid is put into an inlet 12 of the scale collecting vessel 2. As a result, the washing liquid flows deep into the boiler 3 and the scales are dissolved to pool within a partition net 11 in the vessel 2. Further, when the water is boiled and the resultant vapors run out of the vessel 2 so that hot water runs short, the water in the bathtub flows naturally into an adjusting port 10 of the vessel 2. Further, if the scales do not come out any more, the operation of the pump 1 and the heating of the bath boiler are stopped and bath boiler is washed with water. |
