The invention relates to a skin cleansing agent in the form of a preparation which can flow or can be spread on the skin and is capable of forming a film which can be peeled off the skin after drying and which contains dissolved film-forming and adhesive polymers dissolved in an aqueous-alcoholic carrier, whereby the film-forming polymer is a partially acetylated polyvinyl alcohol with 10 - 40 Mol % vinyl acetate-groups and the adhesive polymer is a polyvinyl-pyrrolidon. Said agent can be peeled off the skin after a short drying time of less than 15 minutes as an integral film. Dirt, fat, dead skin cells and black heads can thereby be removed. Preferred is also an ionic polymerisate of 0.1 to 10 weight % containing ethanol or isopropanol or a mixture of ethanol and isopropanol in an amount of 5 to 30 weight %. |
