METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING EXTRUDED FOAMED SHEET OF STYRENIC RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an extruded foamed sheet of strenic resin which makes high heat-insulating properties compatible with fire retardance and is easy to manufacture, by using a foaming agent causing few environmental problems. SOLUTION: A forming agent constituted mainly of saturated hydrocarbon and ether is used and a halogen-series fire retardant and a phosphorus-series fire retardant containing a nitrogen atom in a molecule are made to coexist in an extruded formed sheet of styrene-series resin.
