The spacer (20A) for use in a squeegee for cleaning windows protrudes by a distance X1 beyond the side (4) of the cleaning strip and by a distance X2 beyond the edge (3) of the strip. Alternatively it is flush with the edge. An Independent claim is included for a squeegee including the spacer.
