PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child safety seat capable of reducing necessary force for tightening a strap of a vehicle seat belt to the child safety seat. SOLUTION: This child safety seat comprises a base member 10 adapted to be fixed to a vehicle seat, and a seat assembly 12 pivotally movably installed on the base member 10. A belt guide 62 provided on a child seat regulates a strap passage for a vehicle seat belt 58. A pair of strap bending levers 54, 56 are pivotally movably installed on the base member 10. Since the levers 54, 56 are connected to a seat assembly 12, angular rotation of the seat assembly 12 toward a normal usage position is achieved by angular rotation of the strap bending levers 54, 56 to bend the seat belt 58 from the strap passage. As a result, the seat belt strap 58 is tightened. |
