VOICE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL WITH ECHO CANCELLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice communication terminal with echo canceller that does not cause howling even when an impulse response of an echo path is suddenly changed after starting a speech. SOLUTION: When a control section 112B provided with a reset means 1121 recognizes depression of a dial key of a key matrix 113, the control section 112B initializes a line side echo canceller 102 and a voice side echo canceller 104 to stop the operations of them. When the depression of the dial key is released after that, the control section 112B restarts the operation of the line side echo canceller 102 and the voice side echo canceller 104. The control section 112B keeps the stop state for a prescribed time until a shock noise due to the depression of the dial key disappears when the depression of the dial key is not released.
