PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color correction circuit for color difference input signal that can easily and surely adjust a color (adjustment of darkness of color) through digital signal processing. SOLUTION: The color correction circuit for color difference input signal comprises A/D converters for two kinds of input analog color difference signals, a color difference signal polarity discrimination section that discriminates the positive/negative polarity of the respective color difference signals after A/D conversion and provides an output of any of data as a level of the received color difference signal, a color level detection circuit that calculates a color level on the basis of the color data outputted from the discrimination section and provides an output, and a correction curve data memory section that selects a correction curve of which addresses are the color level data and the received color data by each pixel so as to digitally control the amplification of the amplitude. Or the correction amount can optionally be selected by each pixel according to an operation signal of a user and a correction output is obtained.
