<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator suppressed in the whole dimension of a vessel, having a simple structure, facilitating the manufacture, and safely restraining a passenger, by arbitrarily adjusting the timing of operation output and output increase of the gas generator. SOLUTION: This gas generator for an air bag is formed by including and storing an ignition means actuated by impact and a gas generating means ignited and combusted by the ignition means and generating combustion gas for inflating the air bag in a housing having a gas exhaust port, two combustion chambers for storing the gas generating means are concentrically provided adjacent to the radial direction of the housing, and a communication hole for mutually communicating the respective combustion chambers is provided in the gas generator for the air bag.</p> |
