PURPOSE: A device for controlling a double speed in an optical disk device is provided to use a headphone volume control key in order to reduce vibrations and noises caused by an eccentricity or a surface vibration. Therefore, a user can manually control an appropriate double speed to prevent a wrong operation by combining an eject button with the headphone volume control key. CONSTITUTION: An optical pick-up(2) reads a signal recorded on a disk(1). A filter shaping unit(3) performs a filter shaping for the signal, and outputs the signal as a binary signal. A DSP(Digital Signal Processor)(4) converts the binary signal into a digital signal by a generation signal process, and divides the binary signal into digital data and an audio signal to output the divided digital data and the audio signal. A buffer(5) temporally stores the digital data, and successively outputs the digital data to a host such as a PC. An amplifier(13) controls a level of the audio signal, and outputs the controlled level to a headphone. A sled motor(10) moves the optical pick-up(2). A spindle motor(11) rotates the disk(1). A driver(7) drives rotations of the sled motor(10) and the spindle motor(11). A servo unit(6) controls operations of the optical pick-up(2) and the driver(7). A microcomputer(8) controls operations of the servo unit(6) and the DSP(4). A memory(9) stores data necessary for a control operation of the microcomputer(8). A timer(12) counts a determined time. An eject key inserts/ejects the disk(1). A headphone volume control key varies/controls a volume of the audio signal output to the headphone.
