PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both of the fixation and setting facilitation of the set value of user periodic reset interval. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a game control means for periodically performing the game control of a game machine by synchronizing with a prescribed user periodic reset signal, a first storage means for volatilizably holding information stipulating the interval of the user periodic reset signal, a user periodic reset signal generation means for generating the user periodic reset signal at an interval held in the first storage means, a second storage means (220) for holding information stipulating the interval of the user periodic reset signal so as to be nonvolatilizable and rewrite impossible and a setting means for setting information held by the second storage means (220) to the first storage means when a system is reset. By setting required information to the second storage means (220), setting of a parameter is facilitated. By inhibiting rewrite of the second storage means (220), the set value of the user periodic reset interval is fixed.
