PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a difficulty occurring in a later operation that a discarded base sheet once housed in a housing space returns to a conveying means to entangle the sheet in a plate delivering device for delivering the discarded sheet from a printing drum to the space through the conveying means. SOLUTION: The plate delivering device comprises a moving space 35 for guiding a discarded base sheet, a housing space 36 for housing the discarded sheet of two communicating spaces, a movable member 37 disposed at its edge at a boundary position between the space 35 and the space 36 to prevent returning of the discarded sheet, and a compressing plate 33 moved on the member 37 through the space 35. Thus, the discarded sheet M is housed in the space 36.
