PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a selection operation by a rotary switch. SOLUTION: When an output pulse involved in the rotation of a rotary switch is outputted below a prescribed interval, the rotation amount X is defined as (n) (>1), and when the output pulse is equal to or more than the prescribed interval or is in a reverse direction from the preceding time, the rotation amount X is defined as 1 (105). Then, the rotation is accumulated in each of rotation directions and outputted to an operation processing system. The operation processing system performs processing such as the cursor movement of a displayed menu in accordance with the accumulated rotation and rotation direction.
