PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe carrier which inhibits the temporal deterioration of a function for binding to a target substance, can surely detect and separate the target substance, prevents the deterioration of the probe even after stored for a long period, and has a long life, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This probe carrier in which a probe for detecting a target substance is immobilized on a support is characterized by containing a rosin in the probe-immobilized region on the support. The probe carrier in which a probe for detecting a target substance is immobilized on a support is characterized by containing a resin acid and/or its analogue in the probe-immobilized region on the support.
