SOLUTION: The pivotally mounted position of a raising and lowering boom winding an excavation chain 7 is provided at the substantial center of the ground contact region of a vehicle body 1. The entire length of the boom 8 is housed in a space provided in the center part of the width of the vehicle body 1 in a horizontal cross section, excavation reaction force is received in the ground contact region of the vehicle body 1, the balance of ground contact load applied on each wheel is held, stable running property can be secured, and a vehicle is compact.
