The building (1) which has at least two and preferably three to eight storeys is designed with the outside of the ground floor shaped as an inverted truncated pyramid or cone. The topmost floor and or wall surfaces are planted at least over some of their area. On the inside there is a perpendicular core body with a constant horizontal cross-section which can be the same size or smaller than the base surface of the building foundation. The roof (3) preferably has solar cells.
