PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance paper separating performance by arranging separating gate moving according to movement of a drawing roller and regulating the number of paper sheets carried by the drawing roller to the separating roller between the drawing roller and the separating roller. SOLUTION: The separating gate 30 is arranged adjacently to a paper table 28 and perpendicularly to the paper table 28 between the drawing roller 10 and a final separating part 50. The separating gate 30 has a vertical part 32 and a curved part 34. Because the vertical part 32 is perpendicular to a carrier direction FD of paper, paper to be carried is prevented from being carried in the carrier direction FD when paper hits on the vertical part 32. Because the curved part 34 is curved toward the carrier direction FD of paper, paper is carried in the carrier direction FD along a curved surface, even if paper hits on the curved part 34. By this constitution, the separating gate 30 permits only carrying of the prescribed number of sheets on an upper part and regulates carrying of paper under the upper part because moving of paper in the carrier direction FD is hindered by the vertical part 32.
