ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE RESIN COMPOSITION AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably provide an electrically conductive resin composition having an electrical conductivity of 1.0×10-4Ω.cm or smaller. SOLUTION: This electrically conductive resin composition comprises a thermoplastic resin 1, a metal powder or metal fiber 3 and a low-melting metal 2, wherein the melt flow rate(MFR) of the thermoplastic resin 1 is from 2 to 25 g/10 min. This allows the low-melting metal 2 and the metal powder 3 to be regularly dispersed in the resin composition without agglomerating and allows the metals to be interconnected, therefore inhibiting the agglomeration of the low-melting metal 2 at the surface of the resin composition. As a consequence, an electrically conductive resin composition having a volume specific resistivity of 1.0×10-4Ω.cm or smaller wherein the metal powders 3 are uniformly dispersed and interconnected, is stably obtained. The melting point of the low-melting metal 2 may be identical to or higher than that of the above thermoplastic resin 1.
