<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost over the entire part of a device while maintaining the advantage of a DD(direct drive) reel drive system as it is by adopting a DD drive only for the reel motor on a feed side of a reel drive system and dynamically and directly coupling a drive source, such as a take-out reel, capstan motor or drum motor, by means of a belt or gear train. SOLUTION: The DD system is adopted only for the reel motor 5 on the feed side and a direct supply reel 7 is driven by this reel motor 5. A take-up side transmits driving power from a capstan motor 11 by the pulley and the belt 16 to rotate the gear train 18, thereby driving, for example, the reel 19 disposed on a lower side of the take-up reel 13 intermeshed with the gear train 18. The easy fine control of back tension is made possible by adopting such constitution. The damage of a thin-gaged tape may be easily prevented at the time of rising of REW(rewinding) and FF(fast feeding) of a high speed access.</p> |
