PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having a good wet brake property and a traction property. SOLUTION: On a block 18 formed on a tread of a pneumatic tire, small blocks 18a to 18f divided by a plurality of sipes 24 are formed. A block base portion 30 making a bottom part 28 of the sipe 24 has a tilting sides 34, 36 increasing the height thereof from a lowest portion 32 toward portions 20, 22. Therefore, the stiffness in the opening portions 20, 22 sides of the small blocks 18a to 18f, which takes the lowest value when a sipe having a fixed depth is formed, is improved to suppress falling down. Consequently, a predetermined wet brake property is ensured. The bottom part 26 of the sipe 24 is formed in a V-shaped, so that sipe 24 can easily open at rolling of a tire to effectively discharge snow entering the inside of the sipe 24. As a result, a snow blokage accompanied with making use can be prevented to suppress the reduction in a snow traction property. |
