PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the color developing efficiency while maintaining the mechanical and electric durability of a protection film. SOLUTION: An individual electrode 3, a common electrode 4, and a heat generator 5 are arranged on a ceramic substrate 1. An insulating protection film 6a is formed on the heat generator 5, and further, a conductive protection film 7 with a heat conductivity higher than that of the insulating protection film 6a is formed on the insulating protection film 6a so as to electrically connect the conductive protection film 7 and the common electrode 4. Since the protection film as a contact point with a heat sensitive paper 8 is provided as the conductive protection film 7 and it is connected with the common electrode, influence of static electricity generated by frictional electrification with to the heat sensitive paper can be prevented. Since the temperature of the conductive protection film as a contact point with the heat sensitive paper 8 can be evened at a low level while maintaining a temperature capable of contributing to color development, deterioration by the friction with the heat sensitive paper to be conveyed while being pressured by a platen roller 9 can be prevented so as to improve the wear resistance. |
