LEAK INSPECTING APPARATUS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SECONDARY BATTERY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A leak inspecting apparatus and a manufacturing method of a secondary battery using the same are provided to inspect a sealing state of a welded case before injecting an electrolyte thereinto. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum nozzle(12) is mounted to an injection hole(8a) for an electrolyte which is formed at a case having an electrode portion therein. A vacuum pump(16) is mounted to a pipe which is connected to the vacuum nozzle(12). A He gas sensor(20) and a control valve(18) are mounted to the pipe. A hood(22) is provided to surround the case and the vacuum nozzle(12). A He gas supply means(26) injects He gas into the hood(22). By the He gas sensor(20), the leakage of He gas is sensed while exhausting an air in the case through the electrolyte injection hole(8a). The electrolyte injection hole(8a) is sealed after injecting the electrolyte in the case therethrough.
