PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a capacitor charging apparatus, capable of reducing the current withstand amount of a bypass means of a unit capacitor, without the need for a complicated control means for reducing charging current at a specified time and suppressing voltage unevenness of each unit capacitor, when discharged. SOLUTION: This capacitor charging apparatus comprises voltage detectors 11a, 11b for detecting voltages Va, Vb of unit capacitors Ca, Cb, voltage-dividing resistors 12a, 12b for outputting a reference voltage-dividing voltage Eref, and differential amplifiers 16a, 16b for outputting a gate signal to transistors 14a, 14b so that both the voltage difference becomes zero, when the voltages Va, Vb are larger than the voltage Eref to control bypass currents IRa, IRb. |
