There is described an exercise bicycle comprising a floor supported frame, which preferably is made up of quadrangular tubes, and which comprises a forward frame tube for telescoping lockable accommodation of a handlebar tube for a height adjustable handlebar, and a second frame tube arranged spaced apart behind this for telescoping lockable accommodation of a saddle tube for a height adjustable saddle, the said exercise bicycle comprising a horizontal transverse axle between bearing plates extending between said frame tubing at each their side of the frame, on which transverse axle a flywheel is suspended by means of a hub bearing comprising a pulley which is connected, via a drive belt, with a drive pulley connected with a pedal drive suspended in a crank bearing, where said flywheel is designed with spokes between a peripheral, annular part and a hub part, that said flywheel is enclosed by means of a double-sided covering, and that between said hub bearing and the flywheel there is arranged a free-wheel.
